can i just say that hearing my teacher sing the chorus (sakana sakana sakana…) is so adorable. she asked if any of us knew any japanese songs and when one of my classmates knew this one she got so excited.

new aspiration: own and open a cat cafe.
while my college education will basically be useless, i’ll be surrounded by cats all day. AWESOME. my parents might hate me for all the money i made them spend on beloit, but if i start the new cat/coffee trend, it might just be worth it… right?
the thing is, i’m actually seriously thinking about it.
note to self: BUY MEOWLINGUAL IN JAPAN.
can’t find it anywhere online and i need to figure out what my cat (chumley) is talking about all the time. he never shuts up. i love it.
btw: this is a device that translates your cats’ meows into japanese.
perhaps if i put this on here the gods will smile down upon me and they will make sure this man plays at least one show that i can get to while i’m in japan.

i will find a reason to make these candy sushi this summer. even if i have to throw my own going-away party to do it. though it would only be for me and fourish people.
though that does mean everyone gets more…
